Founded as Allison Architects, the firm was created based on the desire to provide highly personalized architectural services by a small team of talented and dedicated professionals to create exceptional design. As we celebrated our 20th year of practice in the State of Arkansas in 2016, we renamed our firm Allison + Partners, to reflect what we, along with our past clients, see as our most valuable characteristic – the spirit of partnership. It is our core belief that our clients are our partners in the design process, and the most successful collaborations happen when we act as one team. As the client’s ambassador during design and construction, we orchestrate a team of design professionals to make the client’s vision a reality. We are an experienced team leader and design participant on a diverse range of projects, with a variety of team compositions. We approach each project with the same enthusiasm and commitment to service and professionalism, regardless of the size and budget. We also recognize that each project is unique – each client has individual needs and aspirations; each site has its own context, sensitivities, and constraints. Existing buildings require forensics, a close study of existing conditions, and often include extensive and specific research. Projects involving new construction require giving a shape to a client’s programmatic needs while respecting the surrounding context. We believe Architecture can make a positive contribution to society and our earth. Aligning physical facilities with organizational goals and environmental sensitivity, we collaborate with our clients to deliver well-designed and thoughtful spaces that improve productivity, foster creativity, and inspire.

John Allison founded Allison Architects; office in Little Rock

2003

Little Rock office reloacted to current space in Bank of America Plaza.

2004

 Allison Architects opens Fayetteville office.

2006

Chris Hartsfield made partner.

2016

Celebrating 20 years of practice, Allison Architects renamed
